October 17th Topics

NaNo Topic:
Language Models:
If we can't write like William Shakespeare, we can try to be Earnest Hemingway. If we can't write like William S. Boroughs, we could try our hand at William Carlos Williams. We all want to write like J.K. Rowling so we can get one billion dollars. None of us want to write like Stephen King, but we sure want his success. Who is the writer you want to emulate as you begin your journey on this novel. What makes their use of the English language the model you admire?

Adjustable Rate Mortgage
When his mother saw the condition of the house, she burst into tears and ...

Accountants
What's the best thing your accountant has to say? What's the dumbest thing your budget says about you? Who would you replace if you were in charge?

Adjustible Rate Mortgage by Wolfgang Glinka

He loved her directly he saw her. She was so funny, so lively - radiant really.
They met on the beach..laughing with mutual friends but only looking at each other.

It was the real thing, he knew that.

She did too.

Their hearts were full....full of love.

It was the same when they exchanged rings.

Their love would stay solid, total and complete. Nothing could change that.

Marriage, it was what they wanted so much. The public exchange of vows they had said to themselves so many times.

In that crowd of friends, celebrating their love, they only saw each other.

Their hearts were full...full of love.

Then along came life.

Other faces join them. Friends, neighbours, then children.

A new love fills their hearts. A different love.

Then life got tougher. It always does.

Their love adjusted to it. Lost some fire but gained some knowledge.

Life does that.

Their hearts had less love now.

They were busy..They were caring....they began to forget.

They forgot that initial burst....that aching joy.

Now it was business a usual.

Kids....you have to love 'em and you do.

It is a different love. Paid out at a different rate.

Love is adjustible. Infitely practical.

It knows just when to wax and just when to wan.

That day on the beach, so long ago, returns.

Walking there, arm in arm.. a flicker of memory brings a smile.

Love adjusts.....time to return.
