Greetings

We stood where they told us and waited for the light and then we made first contact. In theory it was second or third contact, with the fact that they made contact with us first through sonar waves communication. Five years later we were able to decipher the message and communicate back to them making second contact. But this, this was first species to species, face to face contact. We were making the first real contact, in that since anyways.

We were chosen as earth’s representatives, her being an a elected ambassador for the world voted by all citizens from the UN, me being some young up start getting selected as the future ambassador of the world with the foresight that while this generation might be welcoming the extraterrestrial, but my generation will be working with them. In my personal opinion if you want me to be an ambassador here’s my first order of business to address. Why chose two while Anglo-Saxon females to represent the world. Shouldn’t we have gotten one female and one male from Eurasian and Africa descent then, my ginger friend and me, blond hair, blue eyes typical member of the Aryan race are far from the norm. Two hundred and fifty years after the holocaust and yet a member of the Aryan race represented the human species for the first terrestrial contact, a world with a huge majority of Asian, African, and Hispanic humans. What’s wrong with all of this now?

It might have been the early hour. It might have been the fact I was freezing by ass off. It might have been my force enlistment into the situation. Whatever it was it made me a little cynical of the world at the movement, but before my though could get any worst, light starts coming from the sky. All of a sudden in a huge flash of light resulting in temporary blindness two waist size green blobs appear out of nowhere.

“Greeting human,” they stereo “there is much to discuss but if there is something you must know now is the time to ask.”

Just as my future predecessor was about to piped up I growled, “Why, the hell did you make us wait in Stonehenge at the crack of dawn!”

“We have been studying this planet for a long time now” they replied, “and in our studies we found out that you humans believe this place will call extraterrestrial to this planet. There is no reason for us to disprove that theory for you.”

Just great, I get to spend the rest of my life working with these jokers, it’s going to be a very long ride.
