The police swarmed the bottom of the giant statue, but the three didn't intend to be taken alive. No, their plans were far more nefarious.
Saved by the Lord, they intended to cling to the "Rock" of their salvation from the highest precipice of Judgement. They knew their Maker had Created the earth in seven days and that He would be back soon to separate the wheat from the chaff. They knew they had been doing God's work and that He would keep them from harm.
David Koresh? Or George W. Bush? Who is the faith-based leader, and who the religious fanatical nut? Who defines the parameters? Who calls the shots?
Think about these things as you think about who is in the White House - and who burned to death surrounded by friends and family in the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave - murdered by his own government for nothing more than being a faith based Christian.
